Selected for the First Time as a 'Sustainability Transformation Brand (SX Brand) 2026'

SWCC Corporation (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President, CEO and Representative Director: Tetsuo Komata; hereinafter 'the Company') announced today that it has been selected for the first time as an 'SX Brand 2026', a designation jointly established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE).

What is an 'SX Brand'?

The 'SX Brand' recognizes advanced companies executing management and business transformations conscious of capital efficiency to enhance corporate value. These companies are selected by METI and the TSE for their ability to sustainably generate funds for growth through Sustainability Transformation (SX).

Highly Evaluated Initiatives

The Company has been continuously striving to enhance corporate value through ongoing transformations, such as a name change, the inauguration of a new management system, and reviews of its business portfolio. Through the accumulation of these efforts, the market has highly evaluated our structural reforms, which advanced the selection and concentration of businesses, elevated capital efficiency-focused management centered on ROIC, and clearly defined the phase transition from 'Change' to 'Growth'. Furthermore, our transition to a solution-proposal business model, value provision utilizing DX, integrated promotion with intellectual property strategies, and thorough progress management and monitoring of KPIs were also subject to this positive evaluation. Active participation by the management team and outside directors in dialogue with investors, with a primary agenda of improving capital efficiency and strengthening free cash flow generation capabilities through further sophistication of ROIC management, has also led to high expectations for execution. Based on a comprehensive evaluation of these initiatives, the Company was selected as an 'SX Brand 2026'.
