SWCC Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director, CEO, and President: Tetsuo Oyata; hereinafter "the Company") announces its participation in "Rikochare (Riko Challenge) – Encouraging Female Middle and High School Students and Female University Students to Pursue STEM Fields," an initiative led by the Gender Equality Bureau of the Cabinet Office. The Company will host "Summer Rikochare 2026 – What Kinds of Jobs Are There in STEM? Experience STEM Careers!" at its Sagamihara Site (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa), Mie Site (Inabe City, Mie), and Fuji Denen Corporation's Isehara Factory (Isehara City, Kanagawa). Each site will organize workplace tours, hands-on learning sessions, and networking events with technical staff for middle and high school students interested in STEM fields.

About Rikochare

Rikochare is an initiative led by the Gender Equality Bureau of the Cabinet Office to support female middle and high school students and female university students who are interested in STEM fields, helping them visualize their future and make informed career choices. Within the SWCC Group, the "Diversity Promotion Group" (nickname: SWCCarat, pronounced "Carat") has been established to promote initiatives that enable all employees to fully utilize their individuality and abilities. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the group has contributed to the planning and operation of Rikochare events at various sites. Last year, a total of 36 participants attended across the three locations.
