'Seigetsu no Uta: Shirioki Hoki Glass Art Exhibition' (Kagairyokuen)
Period: July 18 (Sat) – August 17 (Mon), 2024 ※Closed on Thursdays
A solo exhibition by glass artist Shirioki Hoki, based in Kanazawa. Hoki creates artworks by painting on plate glass with glaze, then firing and polishing them. The exhibition will feature large-scale sculptures, panel works, vases, and tableware.

'Kagairyokuen': A Serene Space of Beauty Cherished by Literary Masters
Kagairyokuen was the second villa of 'Yoshinoya Iryokuen', a historic inn where Emperor Showa once stayed. This modern Japanese-style building, where literary figures such as Yasunari Kawabata and Eiji Yoshikawa also stayed, is located in central Yamanaka Onsen and features a tranquil atmosphere and charming corridor walkways.

'49th Traditional Kutani Craft Exhibition – Selected Kaga Exhibition' (Ishikawa Kutani Art Museum)

A public exhibition of contemporary Kutani ware, hosted by the 'Kutani Craft Preservation Society', designated by Ishikawa Prefecture as a holder of intangible cultural properties.

'Ishikawa Kutani Art Museum': Where the History of Kutani Ware Lives
Located near Daiseiji Station in the 'Kokutani no Mori Shinshui Park', this is Japan’s only museum dedicated exclusively to Kutani ware.
The museum features themed exhibition rooms such as the 'Seide Room', 'Iro-e Gosa Room', and 'Ak-e Kinran Room', showcasing masterpieces of Kutani ware spanning approximately 370 years from the early Edo period.
