TAC Electrician Course

What is an Electrician? An electrician is a national qualification required for the construction and handling of electrical equipment. It is classified into Class 1 and Class 2. Class 2 covers equipment receiving power under 600V, such as "general housing," "small-scale shops/offices," and "home solar power generation equipment." Class 1 covers the scope of Class 2 plus factories and buildings with a maximum power of less than 500kW. There are no prerequisites for either exam, and anyone can take them; however, practical experience is required to apply for the Class 1 electrician license. The exam consists of a subject exam (CBT/written) and a practical skills exam. Passing both grants the electrician qualification.
