'Cooking Basics for Elementary Students' Publication Commemoration Event on July 5

Takahashi Shoten Co., Ltd. is hosting a food education event titled 'Let's cook rice in a pot and make Onigirazu' on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Restaurant Cassolo in Toranomon, Tokyo. This event celebrates the release of their new book, 'You'll Want to Make it Again and Again! Cooking Basics for Elementary Students' by Aya Ushioda. Co-hosted with Chef's value Co., Ltd., the event allows elementary school children (grades 1-6) and their parents to observe rice cooking in a glass pot, cook rice themselves, and make onigirazu with their favorite ingredients. The event runs from 11:00 to 13:00. The participation fee is 3,500 yen for one parent and one child, or 4,500 yen for one parent and two children, which includes materials and a copy of the book. Capacity is limited to 12 pairs.
