July, 2026 (a lucky month)

The Yamaguchi Central Region Cooperation City Area (common name: Yamaguchi Yume Corridor) will hold a tour-type real treasure hunt event, "Nanayume Adventure ~Crystal of Hope and the Story of Seven Towns~," starting on July 17, 2026 (Fri).

This event is a wide-area cooperation project that unfolds across six cities in Yamaguchi Prefecture (Yamaguchi City, Ube City, Hagi City, Hofu City, Mine City, Sanyo-Onoda City) and Tsuwano Town in Shimane Prefecture. Participants will use a distributed booklet and their smartphones to tackle a total of 95 quests set up within the area.

The first round, held last year, received over 34,000 cumulative reports and attracted many participants. This second round aims to promote local circulation and, through cooperation with tourist facilities, restaurants, and transportation, will be implemented as a project enjoyable for a wide range of generations, especially during the summer vacation period.

*Prizes can be applied for upon clearing a certain number of quests.

Enjoy Tourism, Experiences, and Local Gourmet Too! Rediscover Regional Charms with 5 Types of Quests

*Scene from last year's event participation

"Nanayume Adventure" offers five types of quests that leverage regional characteristics:

1) [Treasure Hunt Quest] Gather clues, solve riddles, and search for treasure chests!

2) [Photo Quest] Take photos at designated spots!

3) [Experience Quest] Participate in an experience at designated stores or facilities and take photos!

4) [Visit Quest] Visit designated spots and submit location information!

5) [Decipher Quest] Decipher codes in your favorite location!

Through each quest, participants can experience the charm of the area while visiting regional tourist resources, shops, and facilities.

Additionally, in conjunction with the summer vacation period, plans are underway to collaborate with the "Kids Summer Pass" and the "Yamaguchi Central Pass," which offers economical travel within the region. Through limited-time quests that are easy for parents and children to participate in, we aim to promote regional circulation and create vibrancy.
