Vector is Japan’s leading PR agency, specializing in integrated communications anchored in public relations for domestic and international corporations, brands, and organizations. Currently, Vector handles approximately 3,000 projects annually for clients including government agencies, corporations, and organizations both in Japan and abroad.
In global projects, Vector primarily supports foreign-affiliated companies—such as hotels, airlines, cosmetics, and AI firms—and organizations like government tourism boards, providing PR support when they enter the Japanese market or attract Japanese tourists to their countries. This creates expanding opportunities for professionals to leverage their English skills and overseas experience.
In recent years, the pace of foreign companies entering Japan has accelerated, leading to a steady increase in the number of global projects handled by Vector. To meet this demand, Vector is strengthening its recruitment of students with experience in both Japan and overseas. Recently, new hires have included individuals who studied advertising or PR abroad or completed long-term internships overseas. Some young employees have even identified trending brands or products overseas and supported their launch in Japan.
On the day, Vector will discuss topics such as the differences between PR and advertising, and case studies of PR support for global companies. We welcome questions from students, so please feel free to approach us.
