Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. has announced that the second location of its urban spa brand 'TOTOPA,' titled 'TOTOPA Hakata Station Store,' will open on August 7, 2026, within Meiji Park, a site being developed by Tokyo Tatemono near Hakata Station.

'TOTOPA' is an urban spa brand that provides compact yet unique relaxation experiences, primarily in city centers, leveraging the know-how cultivated by the Tokyo Tatemono Group since 1999 through the operation of its 'Ofuro no Ousama' bathing facilities. The first location, 'TOTOPA Tokyo Metropolitan Meiji Park Store,' opened in 2024 within Meiji Park—the first metropolitan park to utilize the Park-PFI system—and has been recognized for its experience design, winning the SAUNACHELIN award in both 2024 and 2025.

For this second location, the facility will utilize an entire giant log of Western Red Cedar, a material increasingly difficult to source at this scale, to offer a new sauna experience based on the concept of 'Tree-Tasting Sauna.'

The design makes the most of the diverse expressions and characteristics of Western Red Cedar, from bark and sapwood to heartwood and scraps.
