34.5% of Companies Utilize Generative AI; High Effectiveness Realized, but Challenges Remain in Accuracy and Operational Rules

Teikoku Databank conducted a survey revealing that 34.5% of companies utilize generative AI in their operations, with 86.7% of those reporting positive effects. The most common use cases are text creation, summarization, and proofreading (45.1%), followed by information gathering. While 67.7% reported no negative impacts, 18.8% noted a widening capability gap among employees. Key concerns include information accuracy (50.4%), lack of specialized personnel, and information leakage risks, highlighting the need for internal rules and education.
