Taisei Corporation Joins 'teamLab Bio-Vortex Kyoto' as Main Partner; Architectural Concept Revealed by teamLab Architects and Taisei Corporation

teamLab is pleased to announce that Taisei Corporation has joined "teamLab Bio-Vortex Kyoto" as a main partner.

Taisei Corporation decided to participate after resonating with teamLab's philosophy of creating new experiences, following their involvement in the design and construction of the facility.

"teamLab Bio-Vortex Kyoto - Taisei Corporation" is teamLab's largest museum in Japan, based on the concept of "Universe of Existence, Universe of Perception."

Additionally, the architectural collective teamLab Architects has unveiled the building's architectural concept, which was developed in collaboration with Taisei Corporation.

I believe that construction is not merely about building structures, but about engaging with the human experiences and memories that follow. The appeal of teamLab's works and spatial design lies in how people immerse themselves in the space, becoming part of the environment, which naturally expands their perspectives and sensibilities.

Furthermore, I believe that experiencing culture and art broadens one's horizons and fosters the ability to think independently, regardless of one's field of expertise.

For the younger generation entering society, encountering such experiences can serve as a catalyst for viewing the world from their own unique perspectives, free from fixed ideas.

Through this project, I hope to support culture and the arts, and contribute to the expansion of spaces in society where the sensibilities and creativity of the next generation can be nurtured.
