BREXA Technology conducted a survey on the conditions and realistic implementation models for integrating freelance engineers within the manufacturing sector. The survey targeted 1,007 individuals involved in decision-making regarding the hiring, allocation, and outsourcing of technical positions, including technical department heads, managers, HR, and executives.

According to the survey, approximately half of the companies are positive about utilizing freelance engineers, with 27.8% currently using them and 21.2% considering implementation. However, 21.5% reported having used them in the past but not currently.

Regarding the best initial implementation model, 'participation in limited projects' (39.6%) was the most supported form. This reflects a cautious approach aimed at minimizing risks and verifying compatibility with existing operational flows.

When asked about key conditions for integration, 'clarity of expected results and roles' (46.3%) was the top priority, followed by 'clear scope of work' (36.4%) and 'clear division of roles with existing employees' (35.5%). Defining expectations and responsibilities at the contract stage is considered the key to successful, long-term integration.
