Kobe City and Techtouch Sign Partnership Agreement for Municipal Digital Transformation

Techtouch Inc. announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Kobe City (Mayor: Kizo Hisamoto) to promote municipal digital transformation (DX) utilizing AI and Digital Adoption Platforms (DAP). Under this agreement, the company will leverage its AI-based platform, 'Techtouch AI Hub,' for Kobe City's electronic application system 'e-KOBE' and its financial accounting system. The project aims to create an environment where citizens can apply without confusion while simultaneously streamlining staff operations. Together with Kobe City, which enacted the nation's first AI ordinance, the partnership seeks to build a model for AI utilization. This marks the first full-scale implementation of 'Techtouch AI Hub' in a government-designated city.

Kobe City has been advancing the digitization of administrative procedures, centered on the 'e-KOBE' system. With approximately 430,000 electronic applications received annually, the city faced challenges in creating user-friendly forms and reducing application errors. Similarly, in internal financial accounting, the city processes over 400,000 payment-related slips annually, making the reduction of errors in staff submissions a critical issue.

This partnership adopts Techtouch's unique approach of 'overlaying' AI and DAP onto existing systems without requiring modifications. By doing so, the project aims to enhance core administrative operations, from citizen applications to staff accounting tasks, through AI and DAP.
