[Okinawa] The Terrace Hotels to Open New Brand "AKA LODGE" on Aka Island on June 15

The Terrace Hotels Co., Ltd., which operates five hotels in Okinawa under the concept of "Harmony with nature, return to nature," will open its new brand, "AKA LODGE by THE TERRACE HOTELS" (hereinafter "AKA LODGE"), on Monday, June 15, 2026. Located about 70 minutes from Okinawa's main island by high-speed ferry, Aka Island in the Kerama Islands is surrounded by "Kerama Blue" waters known for their world-class clarity. A sustainable resort that harmonizes with nature will be born in this designated national park area.

This facility will also serve as a base for the "The Terrace Nature Foundation," which works on coral conservation, and will disseminate activities for conserving the natural environment, starting with coral reefs, from Aka Island to the world.

Prior to the opening, advance reservations will be accepted from noon on Thursday, May 28, via the official reservation site and the accommodation reservation center.

AKA LODGE is a small luxury hotel with a total of 12 rooms. It offers five room types, suitable for solo travelers to suites for families and friends. The interior is based on a natural design that emphasizes the warmth of wood. Furthermore, the hotel adopts eco-friendly amenities, initiatives that allow the stay itself to contribute to consideration for the natural environment.
