MCP-Compatible AI Platform 'mitoco Buddy' Upgraded with Enhanced Features

Terrasky Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO and President: Hidetaka Sato; hereinafter 'Terrasky') will implement a version upgrade of its MCP (Model Context Protocol)-compatible AI platform 'mitoco Buddy' on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

The latest version includes numerous enhancements and improvements.

A new integration partner, 'kintone MCP Server,' is now supported, enabling users to retrieve and manipulate kintone data directly from the mitoco Buddy interface.

Additional features include the ability to use MCP tools directly from the chat screen, create web applications and widgets via agents, and utilize MCP configurations set by administrators—making mitoco Buddy more convenient and efficient to use.

The platform now also supports the latest AI model, 'Claude Opus 4.8.'

kintone MCP Server Integration

Users can now connect kintone apps and spaces, allowing agents to retrieve and manipulate data. Specifically, agents can search, add, update, and delete records; read and write comments; upload and download attachments; and change workflow (process management) progress. For administrators, the platform enables agents to modify and deploy settings such as forms and layouts within kintone apps.

Direct MCP Tool Usage from Chat Interface

Users can now access MCP tools directly from the chat screen without pre-configuring presets or agents. By selecting desired tools from the MCP icon in the chat interface, the agent automatically invokes and integrates the selected tools based on the conversation context.

This eliminates the need for cumbersome preset configurations or agent setup, allowing immediate and flexible use of MCP tools directly within the chat.

Execution Example

Agent-Based Web App Creation, Widget Generation, and TTS Support

Functions previously available only via presets—such as 'Web Apps,' 'Widgets (UI components),' and 'AI Voice Response (TTS)'—are now accessible through agents.

Through chat with an agent, users can now automatically generate not only text and code artifacts but also fully functional 'Web Apps' and 'Widgets' that run in a browser. Additionally, the new 'AI Voice Response (TTS)' feature enables agents to read responses aloud.

Even without programming expertise, users can simply instruct the agent via chat—e.g., 'Create an app for...'—to instantly generate dedicated web apps or UI components that visualize data from sources like Salesforce. This enables rapid visual access to real-time data and accelerates data-driven decision-making in daily operations.

Agent Utilization of Administrator-Configured MCP

Agents can now use MCP configurations created by administrators.

• Efficient centralized management

Once an administrator sets up an MCP configuration, individual users no longer need to reconfigure it.

• Enhanced security by eliminating user-level configuration

Sensitive information required for third-party service integration—such as OAuth2 credentials (Client ID, Client Secret), API keys, etc.—is managed exclusively by administrators. This allows general users to securely use integration features without exposure to critical secrets.

My Drive Feature Enhancements

The following improvements have been made to 'My Drive,' a personal file storage space:

• File Viewer

Users can now view the contents of files stored in My Drive directly within mitoco Buddy using an in-app viewer, without downloading them.

• Download of Chat-Generated Files

Documents and files generated during chat sessions can be accessed and downloaded via My Drive file links. User authentication is required when opening the link, ensuring secure downloads.

Support for Latest AI Models

To enable more advanced reasoning and natural conversations, the platform now supports the latest AI models.

Users can switch between models based on their specific needs.
