Sakana-kun returns to 'NISSAN Abe Reiji'! Playing an intern who inspires the protagonist

The popular radio drama 'NISSAN Abe Reiji - BEYOND THE AVERAGE -' (broadcast Sundays 17:00-17:55), which depicts the daily life of an average salaryman, will feature celebrity Sakana-kun in the June 7, 2026 broadcast across 38 JFN stations nationwide.

◆ Sakana-kun plays 'Umihito Gyogyora,' an intern who moves Anju's heart!?

In the June 7 episode, Sakana-kun appears as a special guest for the first time since April 21, 2019.

The story focuses on Anju Mariya, who recently transferred from the Development Department to become a manager in the Corporate Planning Department. While she appears to handle her work perfectly, she is actually struggling under an overwhelming mountain of tasks, barely keeping up appearances.

Enter Umihito Gyogyora (played by Sakana-kun), an intern who loves fish so much he forgets to eat or sleep. Initially, Anju is frustrated by Gyogyora's eccentric and slow-paced behavior. However, a certain event triggers a change in her state of mind and her approach to work.

Upon recording, Sakana-kun expressed his joy at playing Gyogyora, saying in his characteristic style, 'Whether it's people or fish, it's a once-in-a-lifetime (Ichigo-Ichie / Ichi-Gyo-Ichie) encounter!'
