Toyota Financial Services launched digital commuter and coupon tickets for Koga City's 'Koga Bus' (JR Koga Line and Kotake Line) on June 1, 2026, via the MaaS app 'my route'. This initiative aims to address aging populations and driver shortages, promote cashless/contactless transactions, and enhance public transit convenience. By purchasing passes in the app, passengers can ride by showing their screens. Payment options include credit cards, PayPay, and TOYOTA Wallet. In addition to individual line passes, a common commuter pass for both lines is available, which also covers a portion of the Nishitetsu Bus Koga City Line Kotake route (Koga Station East Exit to Cosmos-kan) under certain conditions. 1-month commuter passes cost 4,500 yen for the JR Koga Line, 6,000 yen for the Kotake Line, and 10,000 yen for the common pass (prices for middle school students and older; discounts apply for elementary students). Coupon tickets are also sold in 11-ticket packs. The company will continue supporting local transportation DX through digital ticketing.
