Fukuoka City continues its initiative, started last fiscal year, to disseminate information within the "FUKUOKA CITY Official Tourist Guide," an information site for foreign visitors, about restaurants in the city that offer menus accommodating diverse dietary cultures and habits such as vegan and vegetarian diets.

This fiscal year, we have added over 30 new restaurants, further expanding the content. A new Japanese-language portal site, "Fukuoka City Universal Food Service Promotion Project," has been launched, making information on restaurants in the city that accommodate these needs accessible in Japanese as well. In addition to web publication, we have produced Japanese and English guidebooks, which are being distributed at tourist information centers and accommodation facilities throughout the city. [Fukuoka City Universal Food Service Promotion Project Initiatives] To ensure that tourists visiting Fukuoka with diverse dietary cultures and habits can enjoy their meals with peace of mind, we are disseminating information on restaurants that can accommodate dietary diversity such as vegan and vegetarian options.

By providing information on both our website and in guidebooks, we are creating an environment where visitors can smoothly search for restaurants, from gathering information before their trip to finding dining options during their stay. We invite you to come and discover your favorite "Delicious Fukuoka.".
