Ayase to Release First 5-track Solo EP 'dialogue' on May 27, 2026

Ayase, the composer for the chart-topping, globally active unit YOASOBI, will release his first 5-track EP, 'dialogue,' on May 27, 2026. Ahead of the release, the track 'Urusa' has been made available today. This track is characterized as an expansive and danceable electro-tune.

A Personal Project Entirely Self-produced

This work is fully self-produced, with Ayase handling everything from lyrics and composition to arrangement and vocals. The EP is based on the theme of 'dialogue'—representing the interplay between himself, others, and society—and captures the genuine emotions arising from his daily life and music career. All five tracks are non-tie-in songs, embodying a more personal side of Ayase.

'While running for about 7 years as the composer for YOASOBI, I couldn't suppress the desire to sing. With the support of my staff and important people, I was finally able to express this feeling as a collection of works. I've packed my own current thoughts, conflicts, and wishes into these five songs.'
