WHISPER OUT LOUD, a leading new generation hybrid city rock band.

The band has announced via social media that the music video for their new track 'BEAUTIFUL PARADOX,' which captures the feeling of starting a new chapter, will be released on May 25th at 9 PM, raising expectations.

While their previous music videos produced by emerging filmmaker Kotaro Nogami have been buzzworthy, this new work stands out as a unique piece that expresses the world view of WOL, which has entered a new phase.

Under a setting that expresses the dawn of their self-proclaimed new genre, CITY ROCK, as a WOL city created with 3DCG, they pursue new techno-oriented expressions. The video explodes with a retro-futuristic world that fuses the old with an unseen near-future vibe. Based on a unique stage design with an 80s feel, they test new elements, making it a talked-about piece that leaves a lasting visual impression across a wide range of generations.

[Profile] A hybrid city rock band based in Tokyo. Activities under the current lineup began in July 2022. They incorporate various elements including R&B, rock, jazz, pop, prog, and metal, fusing them with high sensibility. Their released tracks are frequently featured on official Apple Music and Spotify playlists, and their genre-defying musicality is highly regarded by fellow musicians. Entering 2024, they have stepped up their activities by being selected as opening acts for NO MATTER LIVE held at ZEPP Sapporo, AVEST at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, and SATANIC CARNIVAL.

Expectations are high for them to scale up to a new phase. Last year on February 11th, they held their band-organized event 'KEYS IN PURPLE' at Daikanyama UNIT, featuring Newspeak and FIVE NEW OLD! The three talented bands, each with a musicality and worldview that crossovers various genres, met for the first time and ended in a great success.

In June, they released a new digital EP titled 'CITY ROCK,' the same title as the new genre proposed by WHISPER OUT LOUD, and successfully held one-man live concerts in Tokyo and Osaka.

'Beyond The Heartbeat' was written as the theme song for the 2025-2026 season of J SPORTS volleyball broadcasts and is used in volleyball coverage, including the domestic volleyball league 'Daido Life SV League' delivered on J SPORTS, as well as university volleyball matches.
