Nao Yoshioka Releases 6th Album 'self' Today; 'Yet to Come' MV Set for July 24th

The global soul scene unites in one piece of work. This album features contributions from artists representing America, Europe, and Asia, including Bilal, Peter CottonTale, Khari Mateen, Keyon Harrold, and Jamila Woods. Traversing neo-soul, indie R&B, Afrobeats, house, and spiritual jazz, Nao Yoshioka's voice binds the entire project together. It is the culmination of SWEET SOUL RECORDS' 'WORLD SOUL COLLECTIVE' philosophy.

'self' — Beyond accepting both light and shadow. The theme of the album is 'self.' It explores the process of facing the 'shadows' within—loneliness, guilt, and vulnerability—and accepting them as part of oneself across 12 tracks.

The music video for 'Yet to Come,' which visualizes the world of the album, is scheduled for release on July 24, 2026, at 20:00. The album 'self' is available on all music streaming services starting today. The CD is also released today. A limited-edition clear vinyl LP is scheduled for release on August 7th (Fri).
