Starry Sky Open-Air Bathing as Venus and Jupiter Align: Ofuro Café Karin no Yu to Host Stargazing Event on June 10

THE FARM Inc. (Katori City, Chiba) has announced that its wellness facility, "Ofuro Café Karin no Yu," will host a stargazing event on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, coinciding with the planetary conjunction of Venus and Jupiter.

On the day of the event, astronomical telescopes will be set up in the facility's Sauna Garden. Under the guidance of staff members, guests can enjoy stargazing freely without prior reservation. The event offers a signature experience called "Starry Sky Open-Air Bathing," where visitors can gaze at the western sky amidst the early summer breeze after warming their bodies in the natural hot springs or saunas.

According to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, Venus (magnitude -4) and Jupiter (magnitude -1.9) will appear close together in the western sky after sunset from June 8 to 10, 2026. This bright planetary alignment serves as an accessible entry point for celestial observation. The event aims to capture the transition of the sky's colors as these two planets shine side-by-side.

A Vixen "Porta II A80Mf" telescope will be provided in the Sauna Garden for the observation. Ofuro Café Karin no Yu features natural hot springs, a self-löyly barrel sauna, and a gender-neutral sauna garden where families and couples can relax together. By integrating the heat of the sauna, the cooling sensation of open-air bathing, and the light of distant planets, the facility proposes a new form of relaxation that distances guests from daily routines.
