Minshu Inc., a subsidiary of Port Inc. that operates the job-seeking student community site 'Minshu,' has announced the '2027 Graduate Employer Popularity Ranking' based on a survey of 2,437 students expected to graduate in 2027.
This survey measures popularity across five key perspectives: 'attractiveness of the job,' 'attractiveness of the company,' 'attractiveness of employment conditions,' 'attractiveness of social responsibility,' and 'attractiveness of recruitment activities.'
Itochu Corporation secured the top spot in the overall ranking for the second year in a row. Their active investment in human capital and work-style reforms (such as raising starting salaries and 'morning-shift' work policies) were highly praised by students. Furthermore, four major trading companies were ranked in the top 10.
Industries showing significant growth include entertainment, where Toho jumped from 17th to 2nd place following global hits like 'Godzilla Minus One.' In the IT sector, Sky rose from 26th to 5th place by implementing salary increases and flexible working conditions.
Survey results regarding internships indicate that the number of students prioritizing 'understanding the company atmosphere' has reached an all-time high, with a growing trend of viewing internships as a gateway to early hiring processes.
