Why did Ieyasu remain so deeply conscious of Shingen?

For the unifier of Japan, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Takeda Shingen was both a rival—an 'eternal wall'—and his greatest teacher.

This special event at Kanda Myojin Shrine, a place loved by Ieyasu, will thoroughly dissect the charisma of Takeda Shingen.

Historian Yu Hirayama, who has participated in the historical research and period authentication for NHK Taiga dramas such as 'Dosuru Ieyasu' and 'Takeda Shingen,' will be joined by Shingo Takagi, a pro-wrestler from New Japan Pro-Wrestling who hails from Yamanashi Prefecture and has a deep love for Shingen. Together, they will speak passionately about history.

Furthermore, a talk session featuring Takayuki Kato of Katchu Kobo Marutake is also scheduled.

This is a luxurious time where academic depth meets a passionate fan perspective. Both history enthusiasts and pro-wrestling fans will surely be overwhelmed by the monumental presence of Shingen.
