AtHeart Launches Global 'TIME TRAVEL PROJECT'!
Global girl group AtHeart is launching a 'TIME TRAVEL' project, taking the stage not only in Korea but also in the global music scene.
On June 11 at 12:00 AM, AtHeart surprised fans by unveiling the poster for the 'TIME TRAVEL PROJECT' via official social media channels, announcing the release of two remake songs.
The poster features a pink heart-shaped cassette tape with the song titles 'Say It' and '3!4!' inscribed on it. The numbers '1996' and '2026' placed on both sides of the tape symbolically represent the concept of the 'TIME TRAVEL PROJECT,' which spans 30 years.
The 'TIME TRAVEL PROJECT' is a global remake initiative that reinterprets world-renowned songs released in 1996 with AtHeart's unique style. AtHeart aims to deliver a special music experience that connects the past and the present, transcending 30 years of time and generations.
The project selects one representative song each from the United States and Korea, both released in 1996.
First, for the first release on June 25, the group will release 'Say It,' a reinterpretation of the global hit song 'Lovefool,' originally released in 1996 by the Swedish band The Cardigans, infused with AtHeart's unique sensibility.
Following this, in early August, the group plans to release a remake of the representative hit song '3!4!' by Roo'Ra, which was a landmark hit of 1996 and remains beloved across generations in Korea.
With the concept of a 'time traveler,' AtHeart aims to connect the 30-year span of time and generations, delivering nostalgia to listeners who have memories of the time and fresh charm to listeners encountering these songs for the first time.
