Takarajimasha, Japan's leading publisher of fashion magazines, continues its 'kippis ACTION FOR CHILDREN' project through its Nordic-style lifestyle brand 'kippis'.
Following last year's initiative, the company has donated 'kippis BABY BOXes' to the 'Kodomo Takushoku Oendan'. These boxes will be utilized in outreach programs such as the 'Akachan-bin' (Baby Delivery) project commissioned by Saga City's 'Kodomo Katei Center'. Saga City's model is the first in Japan to incorporate such delivery services into a municipal center's core operations.
Guided by the Nordic spirit of sharing childcare responsibilities, kippis aims to prevent isolation and connect local communities with families.
Donations to Higashikawa Town, Hokkaido, are also continuing. Families who give birth in Higashikawa Town between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026, are eligible. Additionally, an 'Unveiling Ceremony & Special Talk Session with Yuki Kinoshita' is scheduled for January 31, 2026, in Higashikawa.
A public health nurse in Saga City involved in the outreach noted, 'This cute and practical treasure box is extremely effective in engaging families who claim they don't need help, serving as a vital door-opener for further support.'
