Launch of the 'Project to Bring the Joy of Table Tennis to 10,000 Children'

The T.League has decided to officially launch the 'Project to Bring the Joy of Table Tennis to 10,000 Children,' promoted in collaboration with Butterfly (Tamasu Co., Ltd.), Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd., and Shogakukan Academy Co., Ltd., to kindergartens, nurseries, and centers for early childhood education and care across Japan.

Launched in 2025 with the aim of 'supporting the growth of children during early childhood through table tennis,' this project creates moments where children experience the joy of table tennis for the first time by providing the 'PinPinPonPon' table tennis play program for toddlers and an 'original racket making kit,' both developed in cooperation with active childcare workers.

In pilot programs conducted at select institutions, the initiative received high praise from the field, with feedback including 'even children who are not good at sports enjoyed it,' 'children were absorbed in moving their bodies,' and 'it is perfect for indoor activities on rainy days.' Following these positive responses, the project is now expanding its reach to deliver a 'first table tennis experience' to children nationwide.

Table tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed regardless of physical size or age, naturally fostering communication with others and a spirit of challenge. Through this project, the T.League seeks to create opportunities to nurture the essential childhood values of 'the joy of moving,' 'the pleasure of cooperating with friends,' and 'the sense of achievement.' As a league where top athletes perform, the T.League aims not only to pursue the ultimate level of play but also to accelerate grassroots efforts.
