Toda Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kiyosuke Otani) will open the special exhibition "Creating the Wind." on July 1, 2026, in a section of our museum, "TODA CREATIVE LAB 'TODAtte?'".
This special exhibition introduces our company's initiatives at the "Goto Offshore Wind Farm," Japan's first floating offshore wind farm, which began commercial operation in January 2026. It is an exhibition where you can feel not only the creation of electricity from wind but also the great "wind" = Movement towards the realization of a carbon-neutral society and its spread.

What is Floating Offshore Wind Power Generation? Why is Toda Corporation Involved? Click here for a page that answers various "?"!
1. Main Highlights
1 Experience the Scale with Models
The exhibition area features a "life-size mooring chain model" that secures the wind turbine to the sea, and a "1/120 scale wind turbine model (8 units)" that provides an overhead view of the entire wind farm. By combining these, you can intuitively grasp the scale of floating offshore wind power generation.
2 The Project's History Traced Through Four Themes
Using graphics and videos, the exhibition is structured around four themes: "Whirlwind," "New Wind," "Tailwind," and "Spread of the Wind." It introduces the mechanism of wind turbines, the trajectory of our challenges, the bonds nurtured with local communities through dialogue, and our contribution to Japan through floating offshore wind power generation.
3 The Future Spreading from Offshore Wind Power Generation
In the 360-degree cylindrical theater, you can experience the future town development "SECC (Smart Energy Complex City)" spreading from floating offshore wind power generation with powerful images and sound.
We invite you to visit "TODAtte?" and see the scale of floating offshore wind power generation and our company's initiatives.
We sincerely look forward to your visit.
