80% of Personnel Find Debris Handling 'Burdensome' Regarding the degree of burden, 16.9% said they find it 'extremely burdensome,' while 62.9% found it 'somewhat burdensome,' totaling 79.8%. The primary reasons were 'interrupts primary work' (41 counts), 'tedious sorting' (39 counts), and 'lack of personnel' (31 counts).
Debris Accumulation Affects Productivity and Safety When asked about the impact, 'narrower workspace' was the most common issue (44 counts), followed by 'decreased work efficiency' (40 counts) and 'obstructed work circulation' (36 counts). Furthermore, 84.3% admitted that waste management is often delayed.
High Demand for Outsourcing and Selection Criteria Top services requested for outsourcing included 'onsite collection' (51 counts) and 'consolidated pickup' (48 counts). Key selection criteria for vendors are 'price' (58 counts), 'onsite availability' (44 counts), and 'speed of response' (42 counts). 88.8% feel that waste management affects productivity and safety, making them highly receptive to using external professional services.
