TOHO Cinemas Popcorn (Full Lineup) Wins Grand Prix at 'Japan Food Selection' for May 2026

TOHO Cinemas announced that its complete lineup of popcorn sold at theaters nationwide has won the prestigious Grand Prix at the 99th 'Japan Food Selection' in the food and beverage category. Organized by the Japan Food Analyst Association, the Grand Prix is awarded only to highly rated products scoring over 90 out of 100 points. The popcorn was praised for its freshly popped aroma, light texture, and unique caramel recipe. To celebrate, a 200 yen discount will be offered on their large 'Party Pop' size from May 20 to 31, 2026.
