If you were to suddenly leave this world, leaving behind your beloved children, partner,
and other important people...
What would you want to convey to your loved ones at that moment?
"To My Daughter: 20 Charms from a Self-Care Mama®" is a "Book of Transmission" that compiles
"wisdom to be passed on to the future" from a mother who raised two children, once put her beloved daughter's life at risk,
but through struggles, doubts, learning, and overcoming, found her way.
The author's past involved forgetting her true self while desperately trying to help her children,
ignoring her mind and body's signals, and eventually facing a forced shutdown in a bedridden state.
The themes covered in this book—"Food, Medicine, Home Remedies, Vibrations, Views on Life and Death, Parent-Child Relationships"—are all perspectives essential for "living life to the fullest as oneself," insights the author gained from her own real-life experiences.
In an age overflowing with information, where it's easy to get lost,
this book compiles "what is truly important in life" that the author wishes to convey to the children's generation.
To the children who will live in the future.
And to all the hardworking mothers today.
We present this "charm book" to protect your family and help you navigate this chaotic world.
As a book of transmission to be passed down through generations to children and grandchildren.
And as a gift for your loved ones.
(Includes a page at the end for writing messages!)

Background of Publication
In today's busy world, many mothers tend to put themselves last, get caught up in "shoulds," and lose sight of their true selves.
This book was born from the desire to provide an opportunity to face oneself through self-care. Taking care of oneself leads to the happiness of family and those around you. The main text, which describes the author's experience-based perspectives as 20 charms, is packed with tips for self-care and important life lessons to convey to children. This is a must-read for anyone who wants to enjoy their daily life freely and authentically.
Target Audience
・Those who feel they are losing their true selves, overwhelmed by daily busyness
・Those who feel happy but are not fulfilled in their hearts
・Those who are exhausted from trying to find the "right answer" in parenting
・Those who want to deepen parent-child bonds
・All women who wish for their family's happiness
・Those interested in natural food and natural parenting
Author's Comment
I wrote this book with my heart, like a letter addressed to my daughter. At the same time, it also contains a message for parents raising children.
I believe that when a mother smiles, the world changes, and in the importance of self-care. The self-care I envision is about returning to one's original self, that is, living authentically. To achieve this, I believe it's crucial to treat oneself with care first. In the main text, I write about "tips for living authentically" along the themes of "Food, Medicine, Home Remedies, Vibrations, Views on Life and Death, Parent-Child Relationships." I hope this book will be used as a "Book of Transmission" to be passed down through generations within families, incorporating the content of this book with what each family values and cherishes.
And I would be delighted if it becomes a charm book for those who pick it up, a source of hints they can open when they are troubled or seeking insights.

Author Profile
Rina Tsukiji
Founder of Self-Care Mama® Salon. Mother of a 12-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter.
After graduating from university, she joined a mega-bank as a female generalist, primarily handling ultra-high-net-worth clients and experiencing the world of the elite. Through estate settlement and will trust services for wealthy individuals, she began to ponder people's lives, deaths, and views on life and death.
After two maternity leaves, she reluctantly withdrew her children from daycare due to their severe atopic dermatitis. At the same time, she resigned from the bank, abandoning her career.
Her son experienced severe atopic dermatitis to the point where he could barely walk, and her daughter suffered from severe atopic dermatitis requiring a month-long hospitalization. During this process, she questioned medicine and medical care and attempted to improve atopic dermatitis without relying on drugs.
Driven by a strong desire to improve her children's health, she continued to learn and practice, eventually deepening her knowledge and experience in various fields, including Oriental medicine, macrobiotics, medicinal cooking, dietary therapy, psychology, physiology, pharmacology, quantum mechanics, philosophy, thanatology, politics, and social structures.
In 2020, her own atopic dermatitis suddenly worsened, and she became bedridden for a period. She realized she had been sacrificing herself for her family, neglecting her own well-being, and discovered the importance of "self-care," leading her to change her way of life.
Subsequently, based on her and her children's experiences of overcoming severe atopic dermatitis, she began support activities to assist parents and children facing similar challenges. She hosts counseling, dietary and lifestyle guidance support, courses, discussion groups, and an online salon.
Currently, she continues her activities as a "Self-Care Mama®," believing that when mothers worldwide love themselves, treat themselves with care, and feel fulfilled, their children and families will smile, and the whole world will be happy.
