Author's Comment
This book is an honest account of my journey with music, centered on the themes of 'the importance of chasing dreams' and 'continuity.' The path in music has not been easy. After moving to Tokyo to pursue a career, I faced various struggles—marriage, childbirth, life in Tokyo, and returning to my hometown. At each stage, I met many people who supported me, allowing me to continue valuing my passion. That's why I hope parents who wish to nurture their children's talents will cherish their children's 'likes.' I want children to be honest with themselves and pursue their passions when they find something they love or are fascinated by. Continuing isn't easy, but beyond lies unexpected encounters and scenery.
Currently, while working as a flutist, I teach piano and flute to children at the 'Nakayoshi Music Classroom.' Through interactions with many children, I increasingly feel that beyond performers and music schools, there are diverse 'paths in music' tailored to each individual's personality.
I hope this book becomes a cheer for those aiming for a career in music or wishing to achieve their dreams. I also hope it inspires readers to reflect on the emotions behind each note musicians play.
In the future, I will continue to
