◾ Executive profile Nakahara Hikiaki, President and CEO/CTO of Tokyo Artisan Intelligence - Founder and CEO of Tokyo Artisan Intelligence - Professor at the Unexplored/Advanced Data Analytics Center, Tohoku University, and Specially Appointed Professor in Information and Communications at Tokyo Institute of Technology - Expertise: semiconductor design technology, AI, computer architecture, and embedded systems - During his student years, he researched digital semiconductor design and computer architecture. After receiving his degree, he began applied R&D using field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). He had already been actively developing deep learning long before the AI boom in 2012.
