Tokyo DOGS Co., Ltd. and the London Dog Festa Organizing Committee have officially begun recruiting dogs for a Guinness World Record™ challenge to be held at 'London Dog Festa 2026 in Tokyo Big Sight' on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The challenge is to set a record for the 'most dogs sitting in one hour.' This project aims not only to achieve a world record but also to promote the importance of trust, daily training, public etiquette, and responsible pet ownership by having owners and their dogs work together. Dogs are cherished family members who bring joy and healing to our lives. However, for dogs and humans to live together safely in society, owner knowledge, manners, consideration for others, and social understanding are essential. London Dog Festa aims to provide an opportunity to learn about living with dogs and to think about a better coexistent society. This Guinness World Record™ challenge serves as a symbol of these efforts. By working toward a common goal, owners and their dogs can deepen their bond while spreading the importance of training and manners. Special benefits for participating dogs include a commemorative award and the experience of being part of a historic event. We welcome all dogs that can perform a 'sit' with their owners, regardless of breed or size. Please check the special website for details.
