Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. (President: Shinichi Sasayama) announced that its commercial 'Two Lives,' which began airing in March 2025, has received the Excellence Award in the CM category at the 63rd Galaxy Awards, hosted by the NPO Broadcast Critics & Controllers Association. The Galaxy Awards were established in 1963 to improve the quality of Japanese broadcasting culture by honoring outstanding programs, commercials, individuals, and organizations, and are known for their independent judging process. The award-winning commercial depicts the differences in values between the Reiwa and Heisei eras through the lives of a daughter working today and her mother who worked in the past. It expresses the Tokyo Gas Group's desire to support the lives and journeys of every individual. Kaori Koya, General Manager of the Public Relations Department, commented, 'We are deeply honored that 'Two Lives' has been recognized by the Galaxy Awards. This commercial reflects our desire to stand by those who continue to make their own choices and move forward despite changing times and values. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to deliver messages that embody our purpose of 'supporting people and society' through media communication.'
