Grand Hyatt Tokyo, a dynamic luxury hotel in the heart of the city (Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Michael Golden), will offer a summer terrace plan featuring free-flow beer and champagne at its steakhouse 'The Oak Door' and all-day dining 'The French Kitchen' from July 1 (Wed) to September 30 (Wed), 2026.
At The Oak Door, a new beer garden experience will focus on 'fermented ingredients' known to aid digestion and help prevent summer fatigue, making food appetizing even during the sweltering heat. The menu pairs fermented items like salt koji, miso, and sauerkraut with charcoal-grilled dishes. Highlights include beef sirloin marinated in salt koji, domestic pork loin brushed with tarragon miso, and homemade sausage with fermented chili, all served in a shareable style.
At The French Kitchen, a semi-buffet dinner inspired by the culinary culture of the Provence region of Southern France will be available. Guests can choose from five main dishes, including signature Provençal items like bouillabaisse and chicken Provençal. The buffet station will feature chilled dishes such as Pâte de Provence, gazpacho, and vichyssoise. For dessert, guests can enjoy a selection of six items, including white peach shortcake and Paris-Brest.
Enjoy an elegant summer evening on the urban terrace, beautifully illuminated at night.
