The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo SME Support Center are providing subsidies to cover a portion of the costs for SMEs in Tokyo to introduce digital tools, aiming to promote digitalization and support sustainable growth. The first application round for the Reiwa 8 fiscal year is now open. The subsidy covers expenses for new software, cloud services, and dedicated hardware. The subsidy rate is up to 1/2 (or 2/3 for small enterprises and eco-friendly tools), with a maximum limit of 1.5 million yen. Free follow-up support from experts is also available. Applications are accepted from June 11 to July 3, Reiwa 8, via the J-Grants system.
