'Tokyo Teshigoto' Project Announces Award-Winning Traditional Craft Products

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center held a product presentation for the 'Tokyo Teshigoto' project on May 26, 2026, unveiling 20 newly developed products and announcing the Tokyo Governor's Awards for outstanding items. Some products will be available at 'THE COVER NIPPON' starting May 27 and on the e-commerce site 'Koikiya Tokyo' from June 1. 'Tokyo Teshigoto' is an initiative to highlight the skills of Tokyo's traditional crafts and promote the charm of artisan handiwork, proposing a rich lifestyle surrounded by traditional crafts.
