STATE OF ESCAPE to Open First Global Flagship Store at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya on June 6

STATE OF ESCAPE, an Australian handmade bag brand, will open its first-ever direct flagship store at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (Chiyoda-ku, Yurakucho; Operator: Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) on June 6, 2026 (Saturday). This flagship store will allow customers to fully experience the brand's world, which has previously been centered around online and pop-up stores, with a full product lineup.

STATE OF ESCAPE was born in Australia with the concept of "creating unique, edgy, and beautiful carryalls." The designs feature a combination of neoprene material, which is lightweight, durable, and washable, and sailing ropes. Recently, the brand has gained attention for its sustainable initiatives, including collections made from recycled materials.

The interior offers a quiet and fulfilling space, blending soft natural light with a contrast of natural and artificial materials. Its minimal design incorporating curves allows the entire space to connect fluidly, inviting visitors into the world of the brand.

On the opening day, designers Brigitte MacGowan and Desley Maidment will visit Japan to celebrate this special occasion. Furthermore, the store will host pre-orders for new collections and offer special novelties to customers.

Hibiya Exclusive Color Introduced To commemorate the grand opening, a Hibiya-exclusive color, "Hazelnut/Cream," will be introduced from the Meridian collection, with pre-orders available at the store.
