Tokyo Midtown (Akasaka, Minato-ku / Operator Representative: Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) will sequentially hold the "MIDTOWN Summer Workshop," a summer experiential program, starting July 17, 2026 (Fri). With the expectation of extreme heat this summer, we are newly expanding our "indoor experiential content for adults" where participants can enjoy learning and creation while engaging with art, design, crafts, and food culture in a cool indoor environment. Leveraging the network of artists, design and art facilities, and shops that Tokyo Midtown has cultivated, we will offer a diverse range of workshops that can only be experienced here.

We offer a wide lineup, including programs to enjoy creating works with artists, accessory making where you can try your hand at kintsugi, incense bag blending experiences, and curry and chai classes. During the period, we plan to hold over 20 types of workshops with more than 100 sessions, including programs that children can participate in. From experiences that can be a trigger for new hobbies and learning, to creating summer vacation memories that parents and children can enjoy together. We will deliver a rich summer moment where you can encounter the unique sensibility and culture of Tokyo Midtown.
Workshops with Leading Contemporary Artists
● Miya Kaneko: "Stories of Places Only I Know, Embracing Memories" August 15, 16
A special workshop during the Obon period by artist Miya Kaneko, whose work draws out stories and landscapes unique to a place from people's memories and experiences. What about those mysterious scenes encountered during summer vacation as a child, or secret places only you know? Why not try to evoke those forgotten "special memories" by creating original eraser stamps? By stamping your own carved stamps and those of other participants onto a furoshiki (wrapping cloth), you will weave together individual memories to complete one furoshiki per person. Take home a new story, gently wrapped, where the memories of others are interwoven with yours.

======================================================= About Tokyo Midtown
Tokyo Midtown is a mixed-use city consisting of vast green spaces and six buildings. The city brings together various shops, restaurants, offices, hotels, green spaces, and museums.
Experience seasonal events that embrace the changing seasons, and discover new things by encountering design and art that permeate every corner, and the young talent discovered through the "TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD." And let your heart be soothed by the hospitality rooted in the town.
By integrating these elements, we aim to provide a high-quality and comfortable place and time for our visitors. https://www.tokyo-midtown.com/jp/about/ ======================================================= About the Mitsui Fudosan Group's Sustainability Based on the "& mark" philosophy of "Continuously challenging to create new value through coexistence, mutual existence, and co-creation," the Mitsui Fudosan Group views "creation of social value" and "creation of economic value" as two wheels of a cart. We believe that creating social value leads to the creation of economic value, and that economic value enables the creation of even greater social value. Upon the establishment of the new Group Management Philosophy in April 2024, we identified the following six items as "GROUP MATERIALITY (issues to focus on)": "1. Contribution to Industrial Competitiveness," "2. Coexistence with the Environment," "3. Health and Vitality," "4. Safety and Security," "5. Diversity & Inclusion," and "6. Compliance and Governance." We will contribute to sustainability by addressing these materialities through our core business.
