TonicHi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koto Ward, Tokyo; President: Mitsuaki Nishikawa; hereinafter 'TONICHI') has launched sales of 'LOVEVADOS (Rabubadosu) Umeshu,' manufactured by Mohodori Distillery Research Institute (Headquarters and distillery: Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture), on the online shopping platform 'Rakuten Market T-BOX'.
The Mohodori Distillery Research Institute is a liquor manufacturing facility operated by San Apple Brewing Japan Co., Ltd. (Representative: Shinichi Kimura). 'Mohodori' means 'owl' in the Tsugaru dialect. Inspired by owls, which prey on pests and are regarded as 'guardians of apples,' the institute aims to support Aomori's apple industry by processing damaged apples into products such as apple brandy, which are then sold commercially.
'LOVEVADOS Umeshu' is a premium product made entirely from Aomori-sourced ingredients. It infuses fully ripened plums from Nanbu Town, Aomori Prefecture, into apple brandy. The liqueur won the Gold Award in the Japanese Liqueur category at the 20th FEMINALYS World Wine Competition 2026. It offers a refreshing tartness from the plums combined with a rich, apple-derived aroma, enjoyable neat, on the rocks, or mixed with soda. Whether as a relaxing drink at home or a thoughtful gift for someone special, it makes an excellent choice.
TONICHI has formed a regional revitalization partnership with Nanbu Town, Aomori Prefecture, to promote local products and expand distribution channels. The launch of 'LOVEVADOS Umeshu' (500ml, 5,980 yen including tax and shipping) is part of these efforts to deliver high-quality regional products to customers nationwide.
