[Goka Town, Ibaraki Prefecture] The former Goka Higashi Elementary School will be reborn as a bustling facility

Goka Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, has been considering the utilization of the site of the former Goka Higashi Elementary School, which closed in March 2024. To create local vibrancy and promote interaction among visitors from both inside and outside the town, the town signed a basic agreement on February 17, 2026, with Carelitz & Partners Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takehiro Miyamoto; hereinafter "the Company").

Moving forward, the town will proceed with discussions based on this basic agreement. The plan is to effectively utilize the existing buildings of the former Goka Higashi Elementary School to develop a facility equipped with seminar rooms for table tennis training camps and corporate training, as well as a restaurant, guest rooms, and bathing facilities. The operation of these facilities is planned with consideration for use by both local residents and visitors from outside the town.
