About the Land Adjacent to the Information and Disaster Prevention Station Goka
The land adjacent to the Information and Disaster Prevention Station Goka is a vast area of approximately 60,000 square meters located in the center of the Kanto Plain. It is characterized by its natural environment rich in water and greenery, despite being about 50 km from the city center.
Although the "Land Utilization Concept for the Area Adjacent to the Disaster Prevention Station" was formulated in fiscal year 1998, it has not yet been commercialized. Currently, it is used as a temporary evacuation site during floods and for town events. To maximize the potential of this land adjacent to the disaster prevention station, we are considering its effective utilization by introducing private sector vitality.
