In Isen Town, Tokunoshima, we held the first "Isen Town Waucation Program," a corporate training-style workation aimed at company employees. 12 people participated in the 3-night, 4-day schedule, experiencing the "nature, culture, and lifestyle" of Isen Town and proposing tour plans.

* Waucation refers to an initiative that combines Work, Education (learning about the local region), and Vacation.

Unlike conventional workations whose main purpose is vacation, this program is a practical corporate training designed to enhance planning and proposing skills through "experience, dialogue, and learning," using local resources such as Isen Town's "nature, culture, and lifestyle" and local issues as teaching materials. It was held in collaboration with the Future Creation Division of Isen Town Hall, NTTLandscape of the NTT East Group, and the Regional Circular Future Research Institute. Participants interacted with businesses and stakeholders in Isen Town, conducted fieldwork to deepen their understanding of the town, and on the final day, presented tour plan proposals under the premise that they could be implemented as hometown tax return gifts.
