Original Song for Kaminoseki Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture's Official VTuber "Nonno-chan" is Complete!

The image song for Kaminoseki Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture's official VTuber "Nonno-chan," titled "Nonno-chan no Uta," has been completed.

Nonno-chan was created in 2016 as a "Strolling Kaminoseki Guide Character" and debuted as a VTuber in March 2024. She continues to share the charm and current happenings of Kaminoseki Town through social media platforms like YouTube and X.

As a new initiative to conclude the 2024 fiscal year's activities, we commissioned singer-songwriter RION, a native of Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, to produce the song. The result is a very cute track that packs the worldview of the "cute and pop Nonno-chan" envisioned by RION into its lyrics and melody.

It is a song that allows listeners to feel the atmosphere of Kaminoseki Town, as well as Nonno-chan's brightness and approachability. We hope you will give it a listen.

Message from RION

When I was commissioned to produce Nonno-chan's theme song, I thought about many things, such as how to make people realize Nonno-chan's cuteness and her unique originality in an instant... but before I knew it, it was finished in the blink of an eye. I think it's "love" (laughs).

I would be happy if the image of Nonno-chan's life in Kaminoseki comes to mind, and if you find yourself addicted to the catchy chorus before you know it.

I hope people all over the country, and even the world, will listen to it.
