Toyoko Inn Co., Ltd. held its "2026 Annual General Meeting" on June 25, 2026, bringing together managers from all 361 Toyoko Inn locations nationwide. During the meeting, the company announced and honored hotels and managers who achieved outstanding hotel operations throughout the year.

This awards system began in 1997, and since then, receiving an award at the general meeting has become a major goal for managers and staff across the country.

As Japan's No. 1 hotel chain in terms of room capacity, Toyoko Inn practices heartfelt "omotenashi" (hospitality) at all its locations. The company's strengths lie in the peace of mind offered by its principle of a single price, consistent room quality nationwide, and convenient locations, all aimed at supporting our customers' important journeys.

Each hotel manager acts as an entrepreneur, working towards sustainable growth and building hotels rooted in their local communities. All staff who support the hotel, including front desk staff, room attendants, and breakfast staff, are vital members of the management team. They independently think and act to improve customer satisfaction, acquire new members, and build relationships with the local community, sharing the responsibility of hotel operations with the manager. The results of these unified team efforts are reflected in management indicators such as occupancy rates, revenue per room, total profit, and membership acquisition rates.

Award-winning hotels and managers are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of overall hotel operations, taking into account these management indicators, as well as contributions to the local community and customer survey results.

Furthermore, managers and hotel staff who receive the top awards are presented with a special pin badge to honor their achievements. Award-winning staff wear these pin badges on their uniforms, so please take a look when you stay with us.

[Acceptance Speech]

I am able to receive such an award thanks to the store staff, managers, and head office staff who have supported me. I have learned a great deal. I feel a renewed sense of responsibility to live up to this award.

My children are here today, and my work and personal life are a bit mixed up. I feel like this might be the peak of my life, but I will work hard not to fall from here. (laughs)

As an area manager, I will work to energize the Jonan and Keihin areas. Thank you very much.
