President's Greeting to New Employees for Fiscal Year 2026

Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Katsuhiro Matsuo) held the Toyota Auto Body Group Entrance Ceremony today. In order for the Toyota Auto Body Group to unite and create next-generation commercial vehicles from now on, a total of 584 people (472 from our company, 112 from 10 group companies) who joined the Toyota Auto Body Group on this day participated.

The summary of the greeting is as follows.

Our company separated and became independent from Toyota Motor Industry in 1945, originating with commercial vehicles. With the mission of 'being useful to the world through vehicles that transport people and goods,' we have continued our journey as a completed vehicle manufacturer of commercial vehicles, minivans, and SUVs. In every era, our predecessors responded to customer demands with wisdom and ingenuity, allowing us to celebrate our 80th anniversary last year.

This year is an important starting year to advance the 'products and manufacturing' of next-generation commercial vehicles. Regarding 'products,' we will put customers first through a multi-pathway approach, and through research and creation, we will materialize 'good products' that are useful to society. Regarding 'manufacturing,' we will transform into a competitive and people-friendly factory. Let's work hard together.

1. Challenge without fear of failure Toyota's founder, Sakichi Toyoda, left the words, 'Open the window, it's a big world outside.' Look towards a world you haven't seen yet, take a bold step forward, and gain many learnings and realizations. Repeat challenges with new things, and let it lead to confidence and growth.

2. Continue to refine your skills Keep the feelings you have today as you joined the company in your heart, face your work seriously, and continue to refine your skills. That steady accumulation will become your future strength. Training can sometimes be severe, and there are times when it's difficult to continue alone, but you have colleagues and seniors who will push your back.
