Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi Prefecture; President: Katsuhiro Matsuo) held its Toyota Auto Body Group entrance ceremony today. A total of 584 new employees (472 for the company and 112 for 10 group companies) participated in the ceremony, marking the start of their journey as the Toyota Auto Body Group unites to create next-generation commercial vehicles.

The summary of the address is as follows:

Our company was established in 1945, separating from Toyota Motor Corporation with a focus on commercial vehicles. With the mission of "being useful to the world through vehicles that transport people and goods," we have continued our journey as a manufacturer of finished commercial vehicles, minivans, and SUVs. Through wisdom and ingenuity, our predecessors responded to customer needs in every era, allowing us to celebrate our 80th anniversary last year.

This year marks an important starting point for advancing "products and manufacturing" for next-generation commercial vehicles. Regarding "products," we will embody "good products" that are useful to society through research and creation, keeping the customer first and utilizing a multi-pathway approach. Regarding "manufacturing," we will transform our factories into competitive and people-friendly facilities. Let us work hard together.

<Three Expectations for You>

1. Do not fear failure; take on challenges Toyota founder Sakichi Toyoda left behind the words, "Open the window; the world is vast." Look toward worlds you have yet to see, and by taking a bold step forward, you will gain much learning and insight. Repeat the challenge of trying new things and connect them to your confidence and growth.

2. Continue to hone your skills Keep the feelings you have today as you join the company in your heart, face your work seriously, and continue to hone your skills. That steady accumulation will become your strength in the future. Training can sometimes be rigorous, and it is difficult to continue alone, but you have colleagues and seniors who will support you. While working hard and encouraging one another with your peers, please surpass who you were yesterday, step by step.

3. Do not forget gratitude and contribute to society Do not forget to be grateful to those around you, such as your family, who have supported you until now. From here on, look not only toward your own growth but also toward your colleagues, customers, and society at large. Become a person who is trusted by those around you and who can contribute to society.

Let us build a wonderful future together where customers will say, "Nice! Toyota Auto Body."
