[Club Representative Hidenori Kitagawa]
"As we celebrate our club's 75th anniversary, we are embarking on a new stage, cherishing our past achievements and the value of our club, with the aim of becoming a club loved by even more people.
We have been supported by so many of you. From the desire to be a club that can support each of your steps forward, we have set our mission as 'To support someone's positive step forward' and our vision as 'To continue to showcase challenges.' We want to embody this through our actions.
Today is not the completion of a new brand, but we believe it is the start of growing it together with our fans, sponsors, and the local community.
We hope you will become our ALLY (partners) and help us build a wonderful future together."
Erika Araki, Team Coordinator
"With the refreshing name 'ALEEZA AICHI,' I feel a great sense of excitement about building a new history with all of you.
The value of 'connecting' in volleyball extends beyond sports; it is also a means to connect people and revitalize the community. When I visited Italy, arenas there were one of the 'hubs' and 'communities.'
We also aim to create a place with a sense of unity and sustainability throughout the club, centered around our new base."
[Coach Shingo Sakai]
"When I first heard about this, I felt great anticipation and joy, but as someone in charge of the team, I also felt a profound sense of responsibility. To enhance the brand value of 'ALEEZA AICHI,' the team must achieve results while also contributing more to the local community.
The players, staff, and myself will grow together with 'ALEEZA AICHI' and strive to make the people of Aichi Prefecture proud."
[New Captain Ayano Sato]
"When I heard about the rebranding, I felt a strong desire for the club to grow even larger and create a new history, and I felt fortunate to be a part of it.
We, the players, want to continue to take on challenges, aiming to be an existence that inspires others to 'take a courageous step forward' by experiencing our attitude towards volleyball and our team's positive and energetic atmosphere.
As captain in this year of ALEEZA AICHI's launch, I will approach my role with determination."
[Rebranding Story]
As we celebrate our club's 75th anniversary, we are embarking on a new stage, cherishing our past achievements and the value of our club, with the aim of becoming a club loved by even more people.
We have been supported by so many of you. From the desire to be a club that can support each of your steps forward, we have re-examined our club's purpose and aspirations. Through our play and our journey, we aim to inspire vitality and courage, and to increase the moments when each individual feels motivated to 'take a step forward,' we are committed to continuing our challenges.
"Mission (Purpose)" "To support someone's positive step forward"
"Vision (Aspiration)" "To continue to showcase challenges"
As a result of extensive discussions to embody this mission and vision, we have decided to refresh our club name, logo, and colors.
Rebranding Special Website
[Club Name]
"ALEEZA" is a coined word combining "Ally" (friend, partner, alliance) and "Breeze" (wind, gust).
It signifies moving forward together as partners, not only among players and the team, but also with fans and the local community. This strength is likened to the powerful wind blowing from the sea, and it has been infused into the new club name and logo.
Furthermore, to connect with a wider audience and more people as the only women's volleyball club participating in the top league with Aichi Prefecture as our home, we have changed the regional name to "Aichi."
[Logo]
It embodies the "gust of wind" which is the etymology of "ALEEZA."
The wind is a symbol of constantly moving energy, and its movement is abstracted and expressed with lines. This represents the flow created by collaboration with partners and the momentum leading to victory. The simple design conveys our unwavering will to move forward with the region and fans without stopping.
[Club Color]
ALEEZA Purple
We have adopted "ALEEZA Purple," which incorporates the "red" of passion for continuous challenge and the "blue" of calmness in moving forward towards higher goals, to express the club's stance.
It also overlaps with the color of the "Kakitsubata" (Japanese iris), the symbol of Aichi Prefecture, conveying our desire to inherit the history built with our fans over many years and grow into a club that represents Aichi Prefecture.
