Popular 'Dragon Quest Baby & Kids' New Products Arrive at Toys "R" Us! Items to Enjoy Summer Together Go on Sale April 16th (Thursday)!

Japan Toys "R" Us, Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Kanagawa, President: Peter Schatz), a leading operator of comprehensive specialty stores for toys and baby products in Japan, will begin selling a new summer apparel collection on Thursday, April 16th, for "Dragon Quest Baby & Kids," the official baby and kids' brand from the "Dragon Quest" series developed by Square Enix Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo, President: Takashi Kiryu). The collection features summer-perfect items such as rash guards and surf pants for swimwear, and pajamas made with cool mesh fabric. A total of 23 items, significantly expanded from the previous 14 items, will be available at Babies "R" Us stores nationwide (including stores co-located with Toys "R" Us/Babies "R" Us) *1, the Toys "R" Us/Babies "R" Us online store (http://www.babiesrus.co.jp), and Square Enix's official online shop, the "Square Enix e-STORE".

"Dragon Quest Baby & Kids" is the official baby and kids' brand from the "Dragon Quest" role-playing game (RPG) series, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. "Dragon Quest" has been loved for two to three generations, and the brand's products, created with the wish for players to enjoy them as a communication tool with their children and grandchildren, are produced with great care.

The new products being released this time are the latest additions to the brand's popular baby and kids' wear, which has been well-received since its launch in September 2024. In addition to previously popular rompers, tops, and bottoms, the collection now includes swimwear developed as coveralls and rash guards that are perfect for summer. Furthermore, the lineup covers everything from accessories like caps and hats to clothing, designed to make summer fun. New all-over print items featuring characters from the popular picture book "Slime Pipipi" are also introduced.
