The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra announces the return of the legendary Pinchas Zukerman for its subscription concerts in June 2026. Celebrating the 270th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birth, the program will be entirely dedicated to his masterpieces. Zukerman will lead the orchestra as conductor and will also perform as the soloist in Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3. This event offers a rare chance to witness the maestro's dual talents. Concertmaster Akihiro Miura praises Zukerman as perhaps the only living performer who fully inherits the tradition of the 20th-century masters. Performances will be held on June 18 at Suntory Hall and June 21 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall.
